STATUE OF LIBERTY

No visit to New York City is complete without a visit to the patriotic symbol of freedom, the Statue of Liberty. The statue is situated in Upper New York Bay on Liberty Island. It was so much fun, Sofia loved the boat ride.

On our way to see the statue.

Did you know the seven rays stood for the seven continents?

I would love if you all visit and join this blog's Facebook page.

Stay tuned, more NYC coming soon!

  11. If you want to go to the statue and want to go to the pedestal or even the crown, you need to purchase your tickets online. The tickets will have your name on it, and they only allow about 280 people to the crown every day. The tickets you purchase at Battery Park are for the grounds only. You cannot go up the statue, not even up on the pedestal.
